About PBN and LIN Files

PBN — Portable Bridge Notation is a standard format for storing bridge deals, auctions, play records and results.

LIN is a format commonly associated with Bridge Base Online. It can store bridge hands together with bidding, play and presentation information.

Using the files

  • Select the appropriate button to open the file.
  • Save the file to your device when your browser or bridge software provides that option.
  • In your bridge program, look for an option such as Import, Load or Open hand file.
  • PBN and LIN support varies between different bridge programs.
